Ah carbon fibre, the material that makes supercar buyers drool. Fresh out of the McLaren Special Operations (MSO) labs comes the Carbon Series LT, a souped up 675LT that incredibly has 40% more carbon fibre than the stock model.
Limited to just 25 units globally- all of which have already been pre-sold,the Carbon Series LT was created in response to requests from McLaren customers who were blown away by the carbon edition P1 on display at the International Geneva Motor Show.
With a focus on reducing the overall weight and improving the aerodynamic nature of the vehicle, gloss carbon fibre was applied across the car, showcasing the gorgeous weave of the material. Departing from the stock 675LT Spider, the Carbon Series is outfitted with carbon fibre on its roof, bonnet and even fuel filler flap. The McLaren Track Telemetry pack, which includes three track cameras, is also fitted as standard equipment.
Underneath, the Carbon Series is powered by a 3.8-litre twin turbo V8 powertrain, which accelerates from 0-100 km/h in just 2.9 seconds, reaching 200 km/h in merely 8.1 seconds. With a top speed of 326 km/h, the Carbon Series is definitely no slouch in the speed department. To discover more, do check out the original press release here.
