They just don't make them like they used to anymore. One of only 22 right hand-drive models ever manufactured, an extremely rare Porsche 356A has emerged on J.D Classics. Constructed in 1957 for an Australian owner, the 356A in question is outfitted in a stunning Aquamarine Blue with Tan leather interior as well as Tan carpets.
Spending the first 55 years of its life in Australia, the Speedster was then subjected to a bare-metal restoration and imported to the UK in 2012. So detailed was the restoration that the original matching number engine and gearbox were rebuilt, with the colour being carefully matched to its original specifications using the correct factory formula.
With only 3677 examples of this Speedster (and only 22 RHD versions) being manufactured between 1955 and 1959, this specific example stands first among equals with its near-mint condition. Fitted with the low windscreen and bucket seats that collectors have grown to love, the Speedster is a car that is simply impossible to not fall in love with. With a dashboard as timeless as the one below, its hard not to see why.
